Barre class? Like, the ballet-dancer workout? Nope. No way. Not a chance. If you're a human of the dude persuasion, that's probably what you're thinking.
Sure, there's a ballet barre in the class, but don't be fooled thinking you'll be needing to wear a tutu. This workout is all about intensely concentrated, isolated movements, with tons of repetition and very little rest between exercises. All that said, you will still have to plié, which is a fancy French word for very sore quads.
Who is this class for?
There are no prerequisites and all levels are welcome. This class is hugely complimentary to your other training to help with conditioning, balancing the body and stretching tight hamstrings, hips and to assist relieve lower-back pain.
