Washing Instructions

The bottle comes with a handy brush to help with hand-washing. The bottle without the lid can be placed in the dishwasher. Please hand-wash the lid.

Glass is far less permeable than plastics, meaning glass won’t absorb residual tastes, odours or germs, and won’t leach chemicals (known to be endocrine disruptors in the body) into your beverage. Your SoL silicone sleeve and lid will last many years of use. At the end of its long life, silicone is technically biodegradable, although it does take a long time to break down.

Production of plastic water bottles is a huge drain on our natural resources. It takes 7 litres of water to make a 1L plastic water bottle, and in Australia alone over 400,000 barrels of oil is used annually to produce the plastic to make them.
Only around 30% of plastic water bottles are recycled. The rest often ends up in our oceans where plastic constitutes approximately 90 percent of all rubbish floating on the ocean's surface.
