What transformed my relationship with exercise.
I used to be one of those people who thought "I'll never like exercise, it's just something that I HAVE to do." I feel like I've tried all the different kind of options out there: HIIT training, personal trainer, group classes, spin classes, hiking, running (or shall we say short jogging), open gym. You name it, I've probably tried it at least once.
"The biggest tip I can give you is to find exercise that you enjoy. When I was starting my health journey, I dabbled in a lot of different exercises and classes but I never felt comfortable, welcomed or accepted.
For me, barre was everything I had been looking for. It was challenging without being too intense or putting too much strain on my bad back.
And when I couldn't find the community that I needed, I decided to create my own - which is how Flourish came to be.
Moral of the story: don't give up on exercise, keep trying new things until you find what works for you.
